Exemode Japan has proudly introduced their latest Full HD camcorder namely the Yashica ADV-565HD. This video recorder is able to record video in MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 in 1080/30p as well as 720/30p. The camcorder features a 5x optical zoom and a 128MB of internal memory, which is expandable via an SD/SDHC card slot. The Exemode Yashica ADV-565HD camcorder is priced at 17,800 Yen ($213).
The Sanyo Xacti PD1 combines a 10-megapixel digital still camera and a Full HD camcorder in one ultra-compact package. With its 3x optical zoom, integrated USB arm and 2-inch LCD screen, the Dual Camera Xacti PD1 is barely bigger than a cell phone. Supporting Eye-Fi memory cards, the Sanyo PD1 comes with an Easy Upload function to facilitate the sharing of videos on YouTube. Video sequences are recorded using the space-saving MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 format, which means, for example, that a 32 GB card can store more than five hours of film material. You can use even higher-capacity cards thanks to the PD1’s compatibility with the latest SDXC memory cards. The pocket camcorder will be available from September 2010 in black, at a price of €169.
The new Olympus Stylus Tough 6020 is now available for purchase. This rugged digital camera comes equipped with a 2.7-inch LCD display with 230,000 pixels, a 14-megapixels CCD sensor, a 5X optical zoom lens (equivalent to 28mm – 140mm with f3.9-5.9) and a sensor-shift image stabilization. The Stylus Tough 6020 is waterproof up to 16 feet, shockproof from 5 feet, freezeproof to 14F and dustproof. What’s more, the Stylus Tough 6020 can record video at 1280 x 720 (30 fps) with sound using the MPEG-4 codec. Amadana Japan will launch a new camcorder namely the VC-242HD. It is able to record video in 1080/30p or 720/30p resolutions in MPEG-4 or AVC/H.264 formats. This portable camcorder provides a mini HDMI port and a 2-inch LCD screen. The Amadana VC-242HD will be released in brown, silver, or pink.

The Yashica DVC807 HD video camera is able to record video in 720p directly on SD/SDHC Cards (MPEG-4 AVC/H.264). Measuring 57mm x 130mm x 69mm and weighing 291grams, this camcorder also features 32MB of internal memory and allows you to record video in 720×480 (480p or DVD format) or your average VGA size. The camera is also capable of taking still picture thanks to its 8MP CMOS censor.

Canon USA introduced the brand new VB-C60 network camera PTZ (Pan / Tilt / Zoom), which is designed for tracking assets and facilities, surveillance in hospitals and schools, web conferencing and board rooms. Priced at around €1200, the camera boasts a 56 degree wide-angle lens, 40x optical zoom, image stabilization, Smart shadow control, auto day / night capability, DIGIC net and detection of movement. The Canon VB-C60 also features IPv6 and IPsec protocols and is able to record in Motion-JPEG / MPEG-4.
Vivitar has added another camcorder to their line that will be able to shoot HD. The DVR565HD will capture in H.264 / MPEG-4 at 30fps, video back out in 1080i via the HDMI output and will be available in black and silver and lastly, has a 3-inch flip-out LCD monitor as well as a 4GB SD card.
Sanyo has unveiled the VPC-HD700 digital camcorder, a high-definition 720p digital movie camera. The VPC-HD700 features a 1280 by 720 resolution, compact and perfect for the on-the-go lifestyle. Other features include: MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 format support, 7.1 megapixels, 5X optical zoom, 12X digital zoom, and a face chaser.
Home security cameras are getting more common, especially with Linksys. The Linksys Wireless-G Internet Home Monitoring Camera WVC54GC features 802.11g and 10/100 Ethernet connections, and VGA video recorded to a MPEG-4 or Motion JPEG codec. The camera can be limited to local network video streaming or opened up to the internets both publicly or privately. The camera is now available for $120.

Casio has launched their latest ultra compact EX-S770, which is a 7.2MP digital camera with a 2.8 inch display screen, and supports SDHC, and Mpeg-4 recording at 640×480 pixels of video resolution. Casio Exilim CARD EX-S770 measures 94.5mm x 60.4mm x 17.3mm and weights 127 grams.
