Olympus announce the successor of E3 digital camera. It’s Olympus E5 professional DSLR camera with weather sealed body (splashproof and dustproof magnesium alloy), 12M pixel Live MOS sensor, 3 inch VGA Swivel LCD and TruePic V+ processor to capture more detailed and sharper images.
The E5 camera captures all the action in crisp 720p HD video at 30 frames per second, Zuiko Digital Extra-low Dispersion (ED) lens system, 5fps sequential shooting, ISO 6400 and can shoot 720p HD movies.
The Olympus E-5 DSLR camera is compatible with a range of optional external flashes, including the Olympus FL-36R and FL-50R. It accept both compactflash type I UDMA and SD cards (SDHC/SDXC) and will be availabe on October 2010 with price 1,699 Euro.

B&H has begun taking pre-orders for Sony’s newest DSLR camera ‘Alpha DSLR-A560′ via its online store. In case you didn’t know, the Alpha DSLR-A560 sports a 14.2-megapixel Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor, a powerful BIONZ image processor, a 3-inch LCD screen, an SD/SDHC card slot, a USB 2.0 port, an HDMI output and 1080p Full HD video recording (60fps) capabilities. Canon EOS 60D DSLR Camera
Canon has finally announced the newest member to its DSLR camera line-up, the EOS 60D, which is actually an upgraded version of EOS 50D. Specs-wise, the camera boasts an APS-C sized 18-megapixel CMOS sensor, a DIGIC 4 image processor, a Vari-Angle 3-inch LCD screen, an SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot, ISO up to 12800, in-camera RAW processing and 1080p Full HD movie recording capabilities (30fps). The EOS 60D will go on sale from October for $1,099 (body only).
Leica X1
The Leica X1 is a 12.2 megapixel compact camera with a 36mm fixed lens and a 2.7 inch LCD screen. The X1 has an APS-C sized, 23.6×15.8mm CMOS sensor with a 3:2 aspect ratio, which promises to deliver similar image quality to a DSLR camera. The image-stabilized Leica Elmarit 24mm f/2.8 lens provides a focal length of 36mm in 35mm terms, and there’s a full range of advanced controls from manual exposure to manual focus. Other key features of the Leica X1 include a sensitivity range of ISO 100-3200, maximum shutter speed of 1/2000th of a second, JPEG and DNG RAW file support, and a continuous shooting rate of up to 3 frames per second. The recommended retail price of the Leica X1 is £1395 / $1995 / €1550.
Canon EOS Digital Rebel T2i
Canon has officially announced the Rebel T2i as a successor to the Rebel T1i/500D. This entry-level all-in-one dSLR camera supports a 18MP still mode and records up to 1080p 30fps videos. It will be offered in a kit version with Canon’s EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS zoom lens at an estimated retail price of $899.99.
Sony Alpha 450 DSLR Camera
Sony is preparing to launch another DSLR camera for the mass market in the form of the Alpha 450. Powered by BIONZ image processor, the A450 features a 14.2-megapixel APS-C Exmor CMOS sensor, a 2.7-inch Clear Photo LCD screen, interchangeable lenses, ISO up to 12800, up to 7 fps continuous shooting, AF 9 points, a microSD card slot and an HDMI port.
Olympus E-600 DSLR Camera
Olympus has posted a product page for its upcoming E-600 DSLR camera. Canon EOS-1D Mark IV DSLR Camera
The camera provides a 16-megapixel Canon CMOS sensor, Dual DIGIC 4 Imaging Processors, and 14-bit A/D data conversion, all at 10 frames-per-second (fps), with the widest ISO range Canon has produced to date. The Canon EOS-1D Mark IV also supports 1080p Full High-Definition video capture at selectable frame rates. Canon USA will launch the EOS 1D Mark IV later this year for $4,999.
