Toshiba has announced two new Full HD pocket camcorders to its range by
launching the Camileo P20 and S30. These easy-to-use camcorders are equipped with a 5-megapixel CMOS image sensor (P20), an 8-megapixel CMOS image sensor (S30), a 10x digital zoom, a 3-inch touchscreen LCD display, an SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot, a mini-USB 2.0 port, an HDMI port and can record 1920 x 1080p Full HD video at 30fps. The Camileo P20 and S30 will become available soon for 120 GBP (about $185) and 140 GBP (about $216), respectively.

The Toshiba Camileo S20 HD Camcorder is an extremely budget-friendly way to capture high definition memories. With its pistol grip design and 3 inch swiveling LCD the S20 is designed for capturing your Internet bound adventures with ease. The camera features 4x digital zoom, video stabilization (720p/480p modes), and recording to either the 128MB built-in flash memory or SD/SDHC memory cards. When recording in low light the S20 is prepared with a built-in video light and flash. When it’s time to share your movies the camera provides you with one-touch upload to YouTube or an HDMI out for direction connection to your HDTV.

The Toshiba Camileo H30 Camcorder is a budget-friendly HD video camera with a generous 3″ touch screen LCD display. Designed with the social networker in mind the Camileo features an easy YouTube upload button, or hotkey, that allows you to instantly post movies to the web. In addition to a direct upload to YouTube the H30 also features an HDMI connection to your HDTV for easy HD viewing on the big screen.

In addition to the social media aspects of the Camileo this camera also features 5x optical zoom, 10Mp still images, video stabilization (in 720p mode), and recording to SD/SDHC memory cards. When you’re shooting video or taking pictures in low light the camera has both a built-in light and flash. And when you need to step away from the camera the remote control gives you that option.

CrunchGear has reviewed the new Toshiba H30 compact HD camcorder that provides a 10 megapixels sensor, a 5x optical zoom, a 10x digital zoom, an SD card storage and a touchscreen LCD display. The Toshiba H30 comes in a very compact form factor and produces a much better image quality than pocket cameras. Recorded videos are stored on flash memory, but the H30 includes just 128MB on board, of which only about 96MB is usable, so SDHC media is a necessity. The H30 takes SD/SDHC memory cards up to 32GB (not included). Each 32GB card will record up to 5-hour of 1080p video.

Toshiba’s latest Camileo SX900 camcorder comes with a full HD, 1080p video recording capability at 30 frames per second, while featuring an HDMI connection, a 2.7-inch fold out LCD display, a 9x optical zoom and an SDXC memory card slot. What’s more, you can also shoot 14-megapixel pictures.

Toshiba has collaborated with Ducati to release the Camelia S10 Ducati Edition camcorder. The video recorder comes jam packed with a 5-megapixel sensor and can record video at 1080p. The Toshiba Camelia S10 Ducati Edition also supports a 4GB card which can hold up to 60-minutes of video. You can also upload your recorded videos directly to Youtube. The Camelia S10 Ducati camcorder also has a 2.5-inch TFT screen, but sadly there is no HDMI port.

Toshiba is set to launch a new affordable HD camcorder which promises to be the size of a mobile phone. Dubbed as the Camileo S10, the device is capable to deliver 1080p resolution for recording high-def video. Other features include a 2.5-inch screen, 4x digital zoom, 128MB of internal memory, an SD card slot and a 5-megapixel sensor for snapping still images. Available in UK starting in May for a retail price around $200.

Toshiba offers the Gigashot V10 pocket camcorder that sports Mpeg-2 with a 4GB hard disk (0.85 inch) and an SD slot (SDHC). The gadget is now available in Dark Titanium and also Windows Vista ready.
