The Ricoh Caplio RR630 is a 6.1 megapixel point and shoot compact camera with CCD image sensor. The camera features total of 12X (3Xoptical and 4X digital zoom) zoom capabilities for shooting from a distance. The Caplio RR630 has movie mode for the video recording with the for pre-defined scene modes to achieve better video quality. The maximum and minimum video resolution of the camera is 320 by 240 and 160 by 120 pixels, respectively. The 2 inch LCD display monitor of the camera offers previewing at 130,000 pixels resolution. The camera has macro mode that enables the photo shooting from the closest distance of 6cm. The camera accepts regular AA batteries, which are easily available in most of stores.
