B&H has begun taking pre-orders for Sony’s newest DSLR camera ‘Alpha DSLR-A560′ via its online store. In case you didn’t know, the Alpha DSLR-A560 sports a 14.2-megapixel Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor, a powerful BIONZ image processor, a 3-inch LCD screen, an SD/SDHC card slot, a USB 2.0 port, an HDMI output and 1080p Full HD video recording (60fps) capabilities. Canon EOS 60D DSLR Camera

Canon has finally announced the newest member to its DSLR camera line-up, the EOS 60D, which is actually an upgraded version of EOS 50D. Specs-wise, the camera boasts an APS-C sized 18-megapixel CMOS sensor, a DIGIC 4 image processor, a Vari-Angle 3-inch LCD screen, an SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot, ISO up to 12800, in-camera RAW processing and 1080p Full HD movie recording capabilities (30fps). The EOS 60D will go on sale from October for $1,099 (body only).

Engine HD186-B HD DVR Sports Sunglasses

Engine has unveiled their newest HD DVR Sports Sunglasses ‘HD186-B’ for the mass market. This cool sunglasses feature a built-in 3-megapixel pinhole CMOS hidden camera located in the center of the frame, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), a USB 2.0 port and a 550mAh rechargeable battery. In terms of performance, it has the ability to capture both 1280 x 960p HD video at 24fps (AVI format) as well as up to 12-megapixel digital still images (interpolated mode).

Sigma SD15 Review

The Sigma SD15 is a new DSLR camera which utilises the the same 14.06 megapixel Foveon X3 sensor technology as its predecessor, the SD14, and the company’s range of premium DP-branded compacts. Other key features of the long-awaited SD15, which was first announced way back at Photokina 2008, include the True II processor, a 3 inch, high-resolution 460k dot LCD screen, extended ISO range of 50-3200, 77-segment AE sensor, a continuous shooting speed of 3 frames per second for up to 21 RAW images, and a 100,000 exposure shutter life. The Sigma SD15 is available now for around £900 / $989.

Designed specifically for extreme conditions and rough environments, this compact camera is shockproof (from 2m), waterproof (up to 5m) and dustproof. In terms of specs, it sports a 12-megapixel CCD image sensor, a 5x optical zoom lens, a 3.0-inch LCD display, a 103MB of internal memory, an SD/SDHC card slot, a USB 2.0 interface and 720p HD video recording capabilities. The Ricoh G700 will go on sale in Japan from September 10th for 99,000 Yen.

After launching Powershot SD4000 IS, Canon release a new digital camera with super slow motion called Canon PowerShot SD4500 IS. It has 10x optical zoom lens with optical image stabilization, full 1080p HD video using dynamic IS mode and 10M pixel CMOS sensor.

Canon PowerShot SD4500 IS camera has some advance features like Super Slow Motion Video Mode to capture the object at 240fps, Smart AUTO when you shoot video and also you can find high burst mode up to 8.4fps. Kodak Playtouch Pocket-sized Digital Video Camera

Kodak introduced the Playtouch pocket-sized digital video camera that features a 3-inch capacitive touchscreen, a digital image stabilization and on-camera editing functionality. This pocket camcorder is able to record 1080p Full HD videos and a 5-megapixel pictures, and save these files on SD and SDHC memory cards. Additional features include a USB port and a Share Button, allowing you to easily upload photos and videos to Facebook and YouTube. Available in Smoke Gaze (Black), Chrome, Cabana (Orange) and Spa Blue (Teal), the Kodak Playtouch digital video camera will be available this autumn in for £199.99. Each purchase comes equipped with an HDMI cable and a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery.

The Sony A550 is a mid-range 14.2 megapixel DSLR camera offering enhanced Live View, Auto HDR functionality and high-speed continuous shooting capabilities. Slotting in above the A3- series cameras and below the A700, the Sony Alpha A550 employs a new Exmor CMOS sensor for better low-light images with an increased ISO range of 200-12800. The A550 offers 7fps continuous shooting when using the optical viewfinder or 4fps in Live View mode using the 3 inch tilting LCD screen, while the new Auto HDR mode promises to capture a huge range of shadow and highlight detail in landscapes, interiors and other scenes. The Quick AF Live View of the A3x0 series has been carried over, and is joined by a new Manual Focus Check Live View mode which assists with fine-tuning your composition and focus. Sanyo comes back to the portable camcorder market by releasing the new Sanyo VPC-PD2BK. The lightweight HD video recorder is able to record 1920×1080 30p videos or capture 10 megapixel still pictures. The Sanyo VPC-PD2BK features a 3x optical zoom, a couple of microphones that record stereo sound, a USB port and a memory card slot that supports SD, SDHC or ultra-high capacity SDXC (up to 64GB) memory cards. The Sanyo VPC-PD2BK will be available for purchase in September 2010 for $169.99 each.

Featuring a luxurious metal body, this compact camera boasts a 10-megapixel CMOS image sensor, a 10x optical zoom lens, a 3-inch PureColor II G LCD 16:9 screen, Canon’s DIGIC 4 processor and 1080p Full HD movie recording at 24fps. The Olympus FE-4050 is a 12-megapixel digital camera with a 27-108mm equivalent zoom lens and six Magic Filters such as Drawing, Fisheye, Pinhole, Pop, Punk and Soft Focus. Additional features include Face Detection AF, iAUTO scene recognition system, USB battery charging, AF Tracking, SD/SDHC card support and a range of scene modes. The new Olympus FE-4050 will be released in Japan before the end of this month and in Europe next month.
