Nikon Coolpix P5000 Digital Camera

The Nikon Coolpix P5000 is a 10MP camera which provides a high sensitivity of USI 3200, vibration reduction that lets you snap images even in low light conditions, and face recognition for sharper portrait shots. LetsGoDigital has reviewed this camera.

The power of the Nikon Coolpix P5000 is found in the camera itself. The camera will feel comfortable for most photographers, and that makes it worth it. You have to settle for a few shortcomings, but if you can live with that, you truly have a great camera. The Nikon Coolpix P5000 is in my opinion one of the nicest compact cameras available right now, it is really well built.

Casio Exilim EX-Z75 Digicam

It is 7.2MP shooter and is housed in an all silver casing. Some other critical features include 2.6-inch screen, 3x optical zoom, anti-shake, and USB 2.0 connectivity.

The good: Small, slim, digital camera with attractive design; fast performance.
The bad: Disappointing image quality; sensitivity tops out at ISO 400; low-resolution LCD screen; design quirks make it easy to turn the camera on accidentally.
The bottom line: Sure, it’s slim, inexpensive, and cute, but annoying quirks and iffy image quality keep this 7.2-megapixel snapshooter off our list of favorites.

Sony Cyber-shot H9 Digital Camera

Sony Cyber-shot H9 Digital Camera

The camera offers 8.1MP resolution, a powerful Carl Zeiss 15x optical zoom lens, Advanced Sports Mode with high shutter speed (1/4000 seconds), NightShot system, and a large 3.0-inch Clear Photo LCD.

There’s no doubt the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H9 is a very impressive camera, but like the other super-zooms we’ve compared it against, you’ll need to carefully weigh-up the pros and cons. If you’re after a super-zoom with the biggest, most flexible screen and fastest focusing, then the Sony’s for you. Flipping the screen out to shoot at unusual angles, grabbing fast action, then enjoying it on the big screen afterwards is certainly very seductive. It’s also nice that Sony’s included an infra red remote control and lens hood – albeit a hefty one – as standard accessories.
